Declarations
Work with tax periods, journals and reporting files, and review the data before submission.
Last updated: 21 September 2026
Business and aboveSections and periods
Declarations contains the calendar, sales journal, purchases journal and VAT declaration. There are also sections for annual tax reports, forms and SAF-T. Available actions depend on the report type and whether its data is ready.
Select the correct organization and reporting period. The VAT journals and declaration share the selected period when you switch between them.
Prepare monthly data
- Check that sales documents for the period were issued or imported correctly.
- Review and confirm expense documents in Purchases.
- Open both journals and compare the included documents, tax bases and VAT.
- Resolve missing details and warnings in the source documents.
- Review the declaration after corrections before generating reporting files.
Do not enter a document again simply to make it appear in a journal. First check its period, status and tax details.
Locking and corrections
Respect the period's state when making changes. A locked period restricts edits so that closed data stays consistent with the documents. If a correction is needed, use the available action and review the affected reports again.
Annual reports and other files
Open the relevant section and select the year or period. Check the sources, settings and validations shown for that report. These reports may depend on Accounting, not just the invoice list.
Generating or downloading a file does not mean it has been submitted to or accepted by an institution. Review the file and complete submission through your usual filing process.
When totals differ
Check that the periods match, credit and debit notes are included, purchases are confirmed and tax scenarios are correct. Return to the source document to make corrections. See VAT and tax rates for rate settings.
