How it works

Create folders
You create folders and subfolders for contracts, statements and everything else, up to 8 levels deep.
Upload the files
You upload up to 100 files at once with the button or by dragging them into the window: PDF, JPEG, PNG, DOCX, XLSX, CSV and TXT up to 25 MB each.
Organise and search
You move files and folders by dragging or from the row menu, rename them and search by name.
Preview and download
PDFs, images, CSV and TXT open for preview right in smetni. You download selected files or everything at once in one archive.

Frequently asked questions
Which plan includes Files?
The file manager is available on Pro and higher plans. Storage is 30 GB on Pro, 100 GB on Business and 250 GB on Enterprise, where extra storage is agreed separately. On Starter you download invoice PDFs from Sales, but there are no folders or file uploads.
What counts towards storage?
Storage is shared by the whole organisation. It includes uploaded files and originals as well as the PDFs of issued documents. You see how much of your plan's limit you have used at the top of Files.
What happens to a deleted file?
It goes to the trash, and you can restore it within 30 days, after which it is deleted permanently. A folder can be deleted only when it is empty. Issued documents are created by the system and cannot be deleted from Files.
Can I download everything at once?
Yes. Download all gives you one archive with your uploaded files and their folders, the PDFs of issued documents, the originals of expenses and imported documents. Files in the trash are not included. One archive holds up to 1000 files or 512 MB, and for more you download by folder or by client.
If I upload an invoice to Files, are the amounts recognised?
No. Files only stores the document. For smetni to recognise the amounts and VAT and create an expense, upload the document to Purchases. The original then also appears in Files, under Expenses.
Does my accountant see the files?
Yes, if they are invited to the organisation. Files belong to the organisation, not to a single user, and everyone works with them according to their role. Pro includes up to two users, Business up to five, and Enterprise has no limit. The owner counts as well.
