A dashboard of revenue, expenses and receivables

The dashboard shows revenue net of VAT, VAT for the period, amounts to collect and overdue amounts, and it is included in every plan. On Pro and higher plans, the Analytics page adds the financial result, VAT and clients by month, quarter and year.

From ProCompare plans

How it works

  1. Issue and confirm documents

Invoices and notes issued in Sales and expenses confirmed in Purchases feed the figures on their own, with nothing to enter again.

  2. Open the dashboard

On the dashboard you see, for the current year, revenue and expenses net of VAT, VAT payable or refundable, amounts to collect and overdue amounts.

  3. Choose a period

In Analytics you choose all time, a year, a quarter or a month and see the result, receivables and VAT for that period (Pro and higher plans).

  4. Download the data

You download documents from Sales as CSV or XLSX according to the list filters (Business and Enterprise). The PDF of every document can be downloaded on every plan.

Frequently asked questions

What is on every plan and what needs Pro or higher?

Every plan has the dashboard: revenue and VAT for the current year, amounts to collect and overdue amounts, and amounts by client. The Analytics page with period selection, financial result, VAT by period, expenses by category and top clients is on Pro and higher plans. CSV and XLSX export is in Business and Enterprise.

Are the amounts with or without VAT?

Revenue, expenses and profit are net of VAT, and VAT is shown separately: output VAT, input VAT credit and VAT payable or refundable. Amounts to collect and overdue amounts include VAT, because that is what your clients owe you, with a net and VAT split below them.

How are documents in a foreign currency counted?

All amounts are shown in your company's currency. A document in another currency is converted at the rate recorded when it was issued, so later rate changes do not change older documents.

Why doesn't revenue match the money in the account?

Revenue is counted from issued documents, not from receipts. You see separately how much is paid and how much is left: Collected, To collect and Overdue. Credit and debit notes also change the amounts.

Does Analytics replace the accounting reports?

No. Analytics is for a day-to-day view of revenue, payments and VAT. The corporate tax forecast comes before tax adjustments under the Corporate Income Tax Act and is only a guide, not an amount to declare. Balances, the general ledger and financial statements are in the Accounting module (Business and Enterprise).

How does my accountant get the data?

On Pro and higher plans you can invite your accountant to the organisation, and they see the same dashboard and Analytics according to their role. In Business and Enterprise you download documents from Sales as CSV or XLSX, by the list filters or only the selected rows.
